Monitoring Spirits and the Struggles of Progress

Life has a way of testing us, especially when we’re on the brink of a breakthrough. Sometimes, just as things start falling into place—opportunities arise, your hard work gains recognition, and your creativity flows—the rug seems to be pulled out from under you. It’s in those moments of disruption that we might begin to question if something deeper, perhaps even spiritual, is at play.

For me, the concept of monitoring spirits has crossed my mind during these trying times. When I was gaining traction on my Facebook page, having interviews, and making strides in my journey, suddenly that page was reported and lost. The same happened when I shifted my energy toward TikTok—taking it seriously, building my platform, and securing contracts—only to have my account banned without warning.

Who or What Are Monitoring Spirits?

Monitoring spirits aren’t necessarily visible entities, but their essence can show up in the people around us or through inexplicable challenges. These could be individuals who envy your success, systems designed to deter your progress, or unseen forces attempting to derail your path. They seem to appear when you’re finally stepping into your purpose, like an invisible hand trying to sabotage your ascent.

Sometimes, the question isn’t whether these spirits exist, but rather: Who are they? Are they hidden in plain sight—disguised as acquaintances, peers, or even loved ones? Are they those who watch your moves not to support you but to criticize, hinder, or compete?

Finding Strength in the Struggle

Though losing platforms and facing setbacks feels discouraging, I’ve learned a few key lessons:

  1. Discernment Is Vital: Not everyone who smiles with you is rooting for you. Be mindful of who you share your wins and struggles with, as some people may not have your best interest at heart.
  2. Intentionality Protects You: If you suspect you’re being watched or monitored, move with purpose but limit your exposure. Speak less, act more, and allow your results to be the loudest part of your journey.
  3. Faith Will Shield You: While it’s easy to dwell on the negative, leaning on faith or spirituality can help you rise above. Prayer, meditation, and affirmations create a shield of positivity and purpose that no external force can penetrate.

Reflection

Losing those accounts and the progress tied to them wasn’t just a loss—it was a redirection. It forced me to re-evaluate my circle, my plans, and my resilience. And while I may not have all the answers, I continue to push forward, believing that what’s meant for me cannot be stolen.

If you’ve faced similar struggles, know this: You are not alone, and your story doesn’t end here. Your determination and strength will always outshine any monitoring spirit, visible or unseen.
